Overall, They did a great job. Replaced 2 upper catalytic converters and the front 02 sensors. Even have a little more power. Second issue was my obIl "OB2 Port. Said they didn't have an issue with it. A few miles from home my tpms light came in. A problem with Xterra and low temps. I scanned all tires, added 2 lbs of air to one tire plugged into 0B2 port to clear the code and was not able to connect.

I started using Lyons Automotive around 1995 when Wayne and his business partner owned it. When Wayne sold the business I was pretty bummed out but Wayne stuck around for awhile to ease the customer base into the new owner Chuck and I'm glad he did. Since that time Chuck and his team have worked on three different vehicles of mine and every time I get a vehicle back it preforms they way it should. I've read reviews about this business being to expensive or they make a mistake and for some reason that's deserving of a low rating. Lyons Automotive is a multi-man shop with loaner cars and misc. overheard, of course it's going to be a little more expensive than a one man shop who's working out of his garage. So many different automotive manufacturer's, tens of thousands of parts and piece's that go on all these vehicles and Lyons Automotive gets it right and if they don't they stand behind their work and fix it at their cost. I'll be back

Chuck and Austin really took care of me. I took my older model GMC truck for several service items totaling almost $2,000. While doing the service, an error was made. A serious one. A major problem with the engine. As things go with auto repair, they could have been less than honest. Or just get by with a fix. They didn't, however. They owned up to the mistake and recommended the best course of action was to replace the engine. They did the right thing. I highly recommend Lyons Auto Repair and greatly appreciate their honesty. This was my first time taking my car here and I am really happy with the results. The team is friendly, transparent and provided an amazing service. My car's headlights were both out, needed an oil change, and my car was making a noise that another shop was charging over 800 to fix (which did not include the headlights diagnosis and repair). I decided to get a second opinion and I am so thankful I did. I took it to Lyons Automotive and the noise was caused by something I had in my trunk and was not car related. I was embarrassed but more grateful and thankful for them finding the real issue. The diagnosis of my headlights was that they were installed incorrectly (I bought this car used so I am assuming by previous owner), had after market light bulbs, and the wiring was corroded and torn. Both of my headlights were repaired and got an oil change, all at a reasonable price. I am truly grateful in finding this place. Thank you Lyons Automotive Team! I highly recommend it.

Chuck and Austin - are great at what they do. They are straight forward and don't try to push repairs you don't need. Which is sometimes the case throughout Boulder county (resident since 1988). They have worked on few issues on our '17 Ford Expedition including general maint and replacing seat-belts our insane dog ate. They recommended and installed some great tires for the Mud roads we have here. I also trust them to work on my 2002 Audi that has less miles than our 17 Ford. The know how to work on Audi and at a very good price - which is hard to find for German cars. Next week we are bringing in our Subaru for tune-up and tires for the winter. I'm sure they will do great with those also.

These guys are phenomenal! I brought them a mechanics worse nightmare, a vehicle that had major work done by me in my driveway. I couldn't get it to run right after putting a new set of heads on the Jeep. After a million youtube videos and three weekends I was done with trying to get it to run correctly. At this point I just wanted it to run and was done messing with it. I knew it would be a hassle figuring out what the problem was and was not even sure a shop would be willing to take it on, and if they did it would be $$$'s. Chuck talked to me about what I had done an explained they would have to put some time into it just to see whats what. We agreed on $500 to get the ball rolling and we would go from there. After doing a pretty thorough look at it Chuck called me back and said they had it narrowed down, but it looked like they would have to tear apart a large part of the engine to see if the problem was there. I knew this was a possibility and agreed to another $1000 to try and get to the root of the problem. I knew that was the correct way of finding the problem and quite frankly I didnt want to be the one tearing it apart. The next call I got was from Chuck saying they found the problem, fixed it and the Jeep was ready to pick up. I was pretty happy and was thinking I did well with it only costing $1500 to fix it. Now heres the part that is phenomenal, Chuck explained that their guy was able to fix it without tearing the whole motor apart and the total cost was $550 and that included a oil change and filter. To be honest I would be writing a great review if it was fixed for the $1500 we agreed on. Great guys, Great communication, Great timeline. Great honesty and Great work.It was simply a great experience working with them.

SUBARU? NO PROBLEM !What great service from all the crew at Lyons Automotive There were several issues that needed to be resolved from immediate repairs to overdue maintenance. I really appreciated that they also took the time to thoroughly explain and answer all the questions. They even resolved how to get around the fact that I have trouble cell phone service up the road in the river canyon! The estimate was more than fair and accurate and all the necessary work was completed quickly. Very grateful for the professionalism by all the staff at Lyons Automotive. I have been a customer since the late 1990s - I have had older vehicles modified and newer vehicles serviced at Lyons Automotive for all these years and have always received complete service prompt responses and the guys there have done non-standard custom work for me with extremely good results and fair prices. We didn't actually utilize the shop. We got a flat in the mountains. A good samaritan stopped to help, but we were unable to get the tire off. Said samaritan drove in and told of our predicament. 2 guys from Lyons Automotive drove out, were able to get the tire off, and changed. They refused to take any payment, and directed us to the nearest tire shop as they were actually closed for the day. It's good to know that goodness still exists! We're safely on our way home to Iowa now?

I simply pulled into the parking lot at Lyons Automotive and was promptly greeted by a service man in the parking lot. I told him what was happening with the low oil. In seconds he had the oil guy come out, checked the oil and had oil in the engine ready to go. It was some of the best service I've ever had! Very thorough with my vehicle and very reasonably priced.
